Job summary

Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist in Paediatric Imaging at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Radiologist to join our team of Consultants Radiologists, both NHS and University based, and Specialty Registrars.

We have a close working relationship with all clinical specialties including Paediatrics, PICU, ED, Urology, Oncology, GI, Surgery, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Transplant, Gynaecology, Neurology and Neurosurgery departments, and are actively involved in multidisciplinary clinical, research and educational activities.

The Imaging Directorate is ISAS (QSI) accredited and the Trust is a Major Cancer Centre and a Major Trauma Centre.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join a strong multidisciplinary team and provide specialist and general support to the workload of the department.

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Radiology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.

About us

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). A new PACS was installed on January 2019. The Epic eHospital system went live in October 2014.
