Job summary
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic Staff Nurses to join our Gynaecology team on Daphne Ward, The Rosie Hospital. We have substantive Band 5 RGN posts working a mixture of long days and nights, Monday-Sunday.
Daphne Ward is 14 in-patient bedded ward with 5 day patient beds. Patients are admitted for elective Benign/Reproductive Gynaecology surgery, Gynaecology Oncology, Urogynaecological surgery, and emergency Gynaecological surgery. The ward provides a bay of 4 beds and a separate side room for women having medical management of miscarriage or medical management for termination of pregnancy up to 18 weeks.This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who have a passion for Gynaecology and Women's Health. You need to be passionate, dynamic, and forward thinking with a desire to build your knowledge and skills within a supportive environment. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm in caring for women undergoing all aspects of gynaecological care.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of safe individualised, holistic and evidence-based patient focused care in consultation with the patient, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
