Job summary
The Integrated Medical Services Directorate at Cambridge University Hospitals is looking for a motivated and dynamic Deputy Operations Manager to support the delivery of the Virtual Ward, DME and Palliative Care services.
The Virtual Ward is a growing service with ambition to rapidly expand. DME and Palliative care are essential services for the hospital that are also growing and developing due to demand.
Whilst these are all well established and high performing services, there are on-going challenges giving an opportunity to transform ways of working. If you are an experienced service manager looking to develop your skills in a dynamic environment, this could be a really exciting opportunity for you.
Main duties of the job
Working with the Operations Manager to deliver service development projects in the division, specifically for Virtual Wards, DME and Palliative Care. Alongside operational and financial management for defined service areas within the Directorate, contributing to strategic and service planning as required. The defined service areas may be varied from time to time to meet the needs of the division and to ensure business continuity and promote personal development.
