An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cambridge Breast Unit for a Well-being advisor to join our ever growing team and service.
Working with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of consultants, radiologist, nursing staff and admin the main duty of the role is to support patients who are currently going through or have been through a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Main duties of the job
To provide a well-being advisory service and to support patients who have/had a diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer. You will, through assessment, on-going therapeutic work and appropriate referrals, ensure that patients receive appropriate specialized support and advice. You will work with the multidisciplinary breast team in developing and implementing a strategy for the implementation of specialist advice within the breast service.
