Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient MSK Team working within the Occupational Health (OH) department. You will be working alongside a team of Band 6 Physiotherapists and a clinical specialist in an established OH Service.

The team is friendly and dedicated towards the delivery of an excellent service for all our users, as well as constantly looking at better ways to provide a service. You will get the opportunity to support health promotion across the Trust for staff at CUH.

Main duties of the job

To work within the OH department in a satellite setting. Providing a high standard physiotherapy service to patients with neuromusculoskeletal (MSK) problems.

There could be the opportunity to rotate into the Band 6 rotational scheme which includes: General Outpatients, Hydrotherapy, MSK Oncology, Haematology, Occupational Health, Specialist MSK Paediatrics and Orthopaedics.

To work within Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust neighbouring Clinics, e.g. local Community locations.

You will be strongly supported in learning new skills and gaining additional training to support your personal development for the post.

You will have proven knowledge and skills in the management of musculoskeletal therapy and be expected to participate in service development, student training and staff appraisal, as well as manage a caseload of patients. You will also participate on our Orthopaedic weekend rota.

There may be the opportunity to rotate within the Outpatients MSK Team.
