Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA) as a Business Support Administrator.

We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic individual based in Cambridge to assist with administrative duties of the East NHS Genomics Medicine Service over a large and complex geography covering the East of England and East Midlands.

The East GMSA is an Alliance Partnership between Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

The East GMSA Business Support role will act as a support role for business and administrative work to the East GMSA Leadership Team.

You will support the efficient administration and management support service, utilising excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.

You will have a crucial role in supporting the East GMSA team to deliver their objectives and will be responsible for working proactively and collaboratively across the East GMSA region as the main administrative point of contact.

You will need to be able to work at a computer for long periods of time, and a hybrid model of office and home-based working is possible. You may also be able to travel across the network as required.
