Job summary
Join a world-class hospital arts team that's using creativity to shape the future of hospital care and transform the daily experience of staff and patients.
This is a 12 month fixed term/secondment position, whilst the Head of Arts is on maternity leave. You will work with the interim joint Head of Arts to deliver a variety of projects including activity within our current site, and on our future hospitals programme (Cambridge Children's Hospital and Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital).
Main duties of the job
As part of the Trust's masterplan to develop key areas of the hospital site through an ambitious scheme of capital projects, the Arts Producer will work with the interim Head of Arts to deliver creative engagement activities that support the coproduction of current and new facilities. This will include working closely with artists to deliver activities in our current hospitals, at events across the East of England, and with a range of communities on our doorstep in Cambridge.
The Arts Producer is a key operational role within the CUH Arts team and will work closely with the interim joint Head of Arts to drive the planning, communications, implementation and evaluation of creative activity that runs through all programming strands. We expect this to include producing activity towards the CUH Arts Festival 2024, and delivering activity related to our Year of Dance - a range of programming that celebrates 10 years of our successful Dance for Health programme.
