An opportunity has arisen for a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the senior leadership team in one of our five clinical divisions.
Division B is responsible for Cancer, Laboratories, Genomics, Imaging and Clinical Support.
The post plays a vital role in the continued development of service delivery, supporting the vision and aspiration of the Division as well as designing and enacting strategy to drive continuous improvement.
Cambridge University Hospital, having a clinically-led model with operations as an essential part of not just the triumvirate but also with a key role to develop and enable outstanding clinical leadership.
Main duties of the job
You will be an inspirational leader, quietly confident with the ability to establish and maintain credibility across a range of diverse teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to build, develop and articulate business cases is essential with a proven track record of working effectively in a variety of large complex services. We are looking for a strategic leader that can help drive the development of the Division's 5 year plan as well as support the necessary and vital recovery that the COVID-19 pandemic has created. The Division has a key role within the system, and this will be a real focus as we develop and build more integrated models of care for the future.
