Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 Equipment Library Technicians to the Medical Equipment Library team in our Clinical Engineering department.

You will work in a busy team that manages the delivery, collection and processing of medical devices throughout the Trust ensure patient safety. The department works to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality standards and is responsible for the management in excess of 60,000 medical devices used across the hospital and in the community throughout East Anglia.

Main duties of the job

Clinical Engineering supports a wide range of medical equipment in the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is the responsibility of Clinical Engineering to ensure equipment operates effectively and safely with a minimum of downtime.

This post is one of a number within the Medical Equipment Library Section of Clinical Engineering.

You will be required to perform work of a routine non-complex nature, responsible for minor repairs and planned activities as directed by management.
