Main duties of the job
You will support a range of stakeholders across the Trust. To provide financial management service to clinical and/or corporate managers within one or more directorates. Summary of key elements for the role:
- Ensure that finance and business information is intelligent, accurate and timely and produced in accordance with Trust procedures and timetables.
- Key contact for budget holders, to generate intelligence and to provide support for the forecasting and the business planning process.
- Train and provide advice to budget holders, ensuring controls are in place and SFI's (Standard Financial Instructions) are followed.
- Support and develop junior management accounting staff.
The applicant should possess a Consultancy Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) recognised accountancy qualification, or equivalent experience. They should have excellent communication skills and the necessary personal qualities to engage effectively with Senior Managers and their teams.
