Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sterile Services Endoscopy Team Leader to undertake the day to day supervision of flexible endoscope decontamination activity, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with national and local decontamination legislation and guidelines.
You will provide positive team leadership, promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing and interests of all personnel.
You will assist with the teaching of all staff involved in flexible endoscope decontamination and bring to the attention of the senior management team any issues that may adversely affect the provision of a high quality service to patients.
Main duties of the job
Undertake day to day supervision of flexible endoscope decontamination activity, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with national and local decontamination legislation and guidelines.
To provide positive team leadership, promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing and interests of all personnel.
To assist with the teaching of all staff involved in flexible endoscope decontamination.
To bring to the attention of the senior management team any issues that may adversely affect the provision of a high quality service to patients.
