Job summary

We are looking for an individual to join our existing, friendly team. Your role within distribution will include supervising and supporting Pharmacy Assistants, visiting wards and departments as part of the top-up service; preparing and dispatching of goods, recycling of medicines, processing stock list amendments and assisting with temperature excursions.

Prior experience of stock management and an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services are essential for this role.

Main duties of the job

You will provide a high quality supply service to the Trust's non-Material Management Service customers, community units (under a Service Level Agreement) and general sales customers.

In addition you will undertake routine duties within the section together with a specific remit for the organisation and co-ordination of new units being provided with the service.

All duties are conducted in accordance with Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
