Job summary

We are looking to recruit Band 5 Nurses in Critical Care at CUH. You will form part of a dynamic and diverse MDT who are passionate about giving the highest quality, evidence based care. Critical Care at CUH cares for patients from a range of clinical specialities; we are the Major Trauma Centre and Transplant Centre for the East of England, care for complex Oncology, Neuro, Renal and Surgical patients. Joining the Critical Care team here gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills caring for a wide range of patients in a supportive and friendly environment

On joining the team you will be given a bespoke induction package, supported by our dedicated PD team. You will have the opportunity to progress through our nationally recognised CC3N step one competencies for Critical Care as well as attending our foundations to Critical Care course. In our supportive and encouraging environment, your professional development will flourish!

Please note as part of the transfer scheme you will be asked to sit a maths test.

Main duties of the job

To provide safe and effective nursing care whilst developing the knowledge and skills required to care for critically ill patients and their families.
