Job summary

We are looking for an Elective Access Support Officer to join our team.

Your role will be responsible for the delivery of reports for end users on a day to day basis in particular reference to the waiting list validation program using Envoy.

You will support performance delivery against all national elective access standards across all divisions and support the Head of Elective Access in optimising existing reports as well as creating new ones.

You will provide expertise to work closely with Directorates and Divisions in the delivery of the waiting list validation programme helping to ensure teams deliver the necessary detail at a time of significant pressure and challenge.

You will work closely with staff across the Trust building relationships providing collaborative working.

Main duties of the job

To ensure all patients requiring access to outpatient appointments, diagnostics and elective inpatient or day-case treatment are managed equitably and consistently, in line with national waiting time standards and the NHS Constitution.

Lead on the delivery of the Waiting List Validation Program supporting the National timings for validation (NHS England).

To monitor divisional progress against the Waiting List Validation program.

To ensure that all opportunities are taken to continually improve the ways in which the systems are used within and beyond the directorate and develop pathways as necessary, liaising with managers both within and outside of the directorate.

Work with the Head of Information Management to identify appropriate solutions for various reporting needs for the Waiting List Validation Program.
