Job summary
Due to the expansion team we have an exciting opportunity available to join the Myeloma service. This is a busy service and you will be responsible for the coordination of the patient pathways, providing expertise in Myeloma, providing support and expert clinical advice to patients and their carers, liaising with other members of the MDT, teaching and education of others, to run Nurse led clinics, line management of Band 6 Support Nurse and service improvement.
We are looking for a highly motivated person with experience in the care of Haematology/Myeloma patients, good organisational and leadership skills, good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is a recognised expert in the specialty, responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care programmes and undertaking specialist nursing
Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff. This includes the provision of specialist education and training for other staff and
Responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based
Required to undertake research and lead clinical audits in own specialist area.
