The opening of the Cambridge Movement Surgical Hub is providing a fantastic opportunity for growth within the Recovery services. We are looking for a committed Sister / Charge Nurse to lead the team through these exciting developments. You will be responsible for providing excellent care to patients and their families within the Recovery environment of the Hub, ATC and Main theatres Recovery. You will be a clinical expert, able to provide calm, assertive leadership, be passionate about Recovery care and able to demonstrate a commitment to service improvement.
Main duties of the job
To act as a Clinical Specialist and expert role model within Peri-Operative Care Services. Ensuring safe, effective, research based patient care.
To support the training and development of all staff, including the provision of a positive and caring working environment.
To manage the department out of normal working hours and deputise for the Senior Sister as required and provide support to all post anaesthetic recovery areas (Neuro/Rosie/ATC/ Paeds/Main/OIR/PACU/Hub).
