We are recruiting for new Community Diagnostic Centre at Wisbech!

We are opening a new CDC at Wisbech to make it easier for people to access diagnostic services such as CT, X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound, Echo and Respiratory, and we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed individuals to be part of our Admin team!

The aim of the Admin team will be to provide an excellent experience to patients and deliver a professional administration and reception service to modalities within the CDC and to all its users, patients, relatives and colleagues.

As Booking Administrator, you will respond to patient enquiries in an effective and empathetic way, support reception area, assign appointments for all diagnostic modalities and ensure that the bookings are within specified timeframes. You will act as an ambassador for NHS values ensuring exceptional healthcare and customer service.

This is a full time position, 37.5 flexible working hours per week in order to support a service that will eventually run 7 days a week and extended hours 8am-8pm.

Main duties of the job

  • You will work as part of a team providing a high quality of service to patients, colleagues and the public.
  • You will have responsibility for managing appointments for a range of diagnostic procedures within local and national KPIs as well as cover reception duties.
  • You will need to be flexible with a willingness to work some rostered evenings and weekends, have an appreciation of the confidential nature of the work and be able to manage a workload to meet pre-determined targets.
