Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Technical Assistant within the Addenbrooke's Simulation Centre.

We are looking for a well motivated professional, ideally with a background in healthcare, to help prepare and deliver training sessions for the Healthcare Workforce.

You will join a Highly motivated and dynamic team focused on education, training and development of new state of the art teaching methods.

You will possess a variety of skill sets, ranging from information technology prowess to an understanding of make-up work (moulage) and knowing how to "stage a scene".

Main duties of the job

To support the development and delivery of new and existing courses in the Addenbrooke's Simulation Centre and offsite.

Prepare and set-up the daily technical elements of all courses including a range of equipment and supplies suck as part task trainers, computer and VR bases simulations, audio-visual equipment and appropriate medical and surgical equipment making effective utilisation of resources.
