We are invitingapplications for an Administrator to join ourfriendly, supportive anddynamicteam based in Victoria House, Fulbourn, Cambridge.

The NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) Eastern is one of 15 CRNs across the country which fund and support research delivery at a local level. CRN Eastern helps to increase the opportunities for patients and the public to take part in clinical research, improving the environment for clinical research in the Eastern region.

We are looking for an administrator with a positive approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role is varied and you would provide administrative support to our Study Support Services, liaising with colleagues in a wide range of groups and organisations.

Full support and training will be provided for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

To provide high quality day to day administrative support for CRN Eastern (CRNE) Study Support Service and management hubs. To include arranging meetings and conferences, supporting the meeting Chair to take forward actions points, ensuring good communications with committee and group members and the wider research community. To provide support for projects, and take responsibility for small projects, on behalf of the CRNE.

You will work on a day to day basis within a local team but will liaise with colleagues in a wide range of groups and organisations, including the Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre. You will correspond regularly with the members of Specialty Groups, patient representatives and with clinicians and researchers conducting research in the NHS.

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to work without direct supervision on a day to day basis.

Ability to travel routinely within the East of England and outside the region, as required, for the role.
