Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated Band 5 review team coordinator to join the Community Equipment Service (CES) contracting team, on a 12 month fixed term contract, based at the Disability Resource Centre, BSE.

During COVID, CES has supported an increased number of rapid hospital discharges, admission prevention visits and patients who require support to remain in their own homes. There has been an unprecedented demand for equipment provision to patient homes, bridging and CAB beds and care homes. To support service provision, we are looking for a candidate to build relationships with care homes and CES prescribers, to encourage and increase equipment collections which will support the service to continue providing equipment to all service users who require this valuable service.

If you are looking for a new challenge, enjoy variety and wish to be part of a team striving to make a difference for our community then we want to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

You will demonstrate attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. You will be motivated to work independently, able to prioritise and be proactive in solving problems which will be seen through to completion. The candidate will have good IT skills and will be calm and patient with the skills to deal with complex and difficult issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong teamwork ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times.
