Job summary
We are looking for an Audiology Admin Assistant to work as an integral part of out Audiology team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. This role supports our clinical teams in the delivery of our hearing aid services as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to our Audiology clinical team.
Main duties of the job
The role includes accurate of patient record keeping (through electronic databases and Electronic patient records), handling telephone enquiries, hearing aid maintenance stock management as well as the use of Microsoft Office packages. As such we are looking for individuals with demonstrable effective team working and communication skills, an interest in audiology and the drive to high quality care for our patients.

Adult and paediatric community services, provided in collaboration with West Suffolk Alliance partners, include a range of nursing, therapy, specialist, and ongoing temporary care and rehabilitation, some at our Newmarket Community Hospital.

Essential
- Five or more GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grades A-C or (equivalent)
- IT proficiency, with basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Evidence of Continuous learning
- Science related A-level
- Additional qualifications from recognised audiology training courses
Experience and knowledge

- Administration experience
- Ability to communicate with all levels of health professional and patients.
