Job summary
West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting into the digital endpoint engineering team. You will join a mature engineering team who support across our acute and community locations for the Trust.
Whilst supported by the team, you will be required to work independently on device management, upgrades, problem solving and installations. This role would suit someone who is looking to take a step forward in their digital career or who has existing experience within endpoint management.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation so the ability to explain issues to our staff is key. You will be required to work across the hospital sites as well as our community locations, so it is an active role that also requires travel. Working with other technical specialisms is part of the role, whether that be the service desk, servers, network or cyber team. When ready, you will join the out of hours on call rota.

Main duties of the job
The primary roles for the post holder will be to provide specialist technical support as part of a second line Endpoints Support Team. This includes supporting a range of endpoints including desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and associated peripherals in the Trust's IT services. Also to ensure that users are fully supported in their day to day use of IT and to perform installations of IT equipment, including a wide range of endpoint operating systems and productivity software.
The post holder must be able to troubleshoot complex IT incidents quickly and efficiently. They must be able to install any supported Trust hardware or software and do necessary testing. To support the provisioning of new equipment and users including account creation and password resets.
