This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the West Suffolk Procurement team to undertake the project management of the Trust's new Inventory Management Solution.
This role will incorporate:
- Manage the implementation across the entire Trust
- Ensure integration with existing systems
- Change management
- Fully operational system
- Benefits realisation tracking.
Main duties of the job
Generate project plans and agree timelines for implementation with key stakeholder
Support procurement and departments before and during implementation
Generate new standard operating procedures for the new IMS system
Support e-cataloguing and integration with existing procurement systems.
Manage external contractor with setting up meetings, training, and support
Be first point of contact for any issues and concerns
Produce reports and data around targets and developing areas
Provide data to the national team around targets and objectives

Responsible for the delivery of the Trust Inventory Management solution including point of care. Establish and maintain existing supply chain routes which supporting the Trust procurement strategy
Job responsibilities:
Managing projects from inception through to implementation and evaluation
Preparation of business cases for specific projects in relation to the inventory Management system. This will include liaison with key stakeholders to understand the requirements and restrictions of individual projects.
Production of project documentation including project initiation documents, risk/issue registers, project plans and project closure documents.
Manage and respond to client complaints and questions.
Produce programme documentation to direct project timescales.
Contract Manage and develop projects and budgets on an on-going basis.
Manage contractors on site in line with on-going projects.
