Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join our team in the Sandra Chapman Centre as an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The successful post holder will need to work closely with the Oncology MDT and other MDT professionals to provide a seamless transition of care. They will join the existing Oncology Consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialist team, supporting inpatients and outpatients, and the tertiary centres.
There may be an opportunity to consider a band 6 training role for the right applicant.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holders will need to be experienced nurses within the field of cancer and demonstrate advanced communication skills. Information and support are a large part of the role, providing advocacy, supporting shared decision making and optimising patient care and experience.
