Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to the position of a Digital Specialist at the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This temporary bank contract position will support the delivery of educational programmes within the Blended Learning UK programme on an as and when basis. The post holder will be responsible for delivering various projects.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist and support Blended Learning UK to progress against its core objectives and ensure delivery of agreed portfolio programmes. This will require the application of organisational skills and management process to promote the operational, strategic and performance targets.

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the various projects and will work to tight deadlines under minimal supervision, using their own initiative.

  • Relevant experience working within a Digital Support environment
  • Experience of using multimedia tools to produce digital (graphical, animated, audio and video) content
  • Must hold (or be working towards) one of the following certifications: MCDST, MCITP, MCP, MCF
  • Knowledge of usability and accessibility issues with digital media

Desirable

  • Experience of working as a Digital Specialist and Developer

  • A level of understanding regarding one or more computer systems (hardware or software).
