Job summary
The James Paget Hospital is on a journey to implement digital technologies to improve the services available to patients, the quality of information available to staff and improve partnership working through shared information.
Phase 1 is implementing electronic observations and a shared care record. Phase 2 is EPR and the new hospital project. This is an exciting phase of digital technology projects. To deliver these benefits, we are looking for a Change Agent to join our digital health team. Are you a good communicator, confident and approachable and enjoy supporting others to learn and develop. Enthusiastic about service improvement to improve patient and staff experience? Then a change agent position is for you. You will work with the Clinical change lead and Digital health team to support new trust wide projects, in collaboration with clinical teams. Initially supporting our electronic observations and shared care record projects, the Change Agent will work with the project team to look at workflows and support appropriate new systems or processes.
A large part of the role will be to plan and deliver training. You will be expected to deliver this across a variety of staff groups and tailor your support to meet the needs of a wide range of individuals. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and learning new bedside systems. Some change/project experience would be an advantage, but we can provide training to enable you to deliver local digital change activities.
