As a Consultant Radiologist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-standard radiology services across our three acute sites--Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital, and Stamford & Rutland Hospitals--while extending your expertise to our community hospitals.
Who We're Looking For
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice (or eligibility within 6 months).
- UK-trained applicants: Must have a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within 6 months of award at the date of interview.
- Non-UK-trained applicants: Must demonstrate CCT equivalence.
- Subspecialist interest inBreast Imagingis essential.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, patient care, and innovation.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver subspecialty radiology services in alignment with departmental needs, driving service improvement.
- Provide leadership and clinical expertise across general radiology, working closely with your colleagues in a collaborative environment.
- Actively contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain your subspecialty interest, enhancing our department's offering to meet patient and service requirements.
- Lead and contribute to audit projects and protocol development, ensuring best practices are followed.
