CAFM and Estates Systems Manager - Huntingdon

Job summary

The Trust is poised to enter an exciting period of phased re-development to create a new Hospital on the Hinchingbrooke site over the next 5 to 10 years. The Estate & Facilities team is looking to develop and enhance its existing CAFM and Estates Information systems that underpin the delivery of its services and therefore require an experienced, motivated, team player with the ability to induct, set up, create, maintain and develop its key software systems (Planet and MICAD) and the data held within to ensure patient safety, compliance and effective service delivery.

Main duties of the job

The Estate & Facilities team is seeking to recruit a person experienced in day to day operational Management of Estates Information Systems (Externally Hosted such as Planet & Micad) and locally managed systems & databases. They will play a key role in the management and development of planned maintenance scheduling, reporting processes and asset management. The role will be to act as SME and effectively manage the development, coordination and upkeep of these critical systems, with support from system administrators and the wider estates team.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in computer technology systems
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in the use of CAFM/Asset Management reporting systems.

  • AutoCAD Qualification and ability to review, manipulate/update drawings on an occasional basis
