As the Senior Project Manager for Research/Admin/Education/Data Building, you will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of the Enabling Works Programme. This role involves providing construction and commercial leadership, overseeing project teams, and ensuring compliance with best practices. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the programme meets the highest standards of governance, public accountability, and quality benchmarks, delivering substantial benefits to the community.
Main duties of the job
- Lead the strategic delivery of the construction and commercial elements of the Enabling Works Programme, ensuring alignment with NHS sustainability and Net Zero targets.
- Oversee the development and management of project teams, ensuring effective delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Manage procurement processes for construction and commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with government frameworks and best value for money.
- Develop and implement integrated governance and risk management plans for the programme.
Project deliverables specific to this role
- To build a combined Administration, Education and Research Centre (including Simulation) and provide decant space for other services during theenablingworks
- Capital value of projects associated with this role: £45m
