Job summary

We are seeking to recruit a professional and enthusiastic Ward Clerk for a full-time position. As the welcoming face of our unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service.

Main duties of the job

  • Administration and Process Control: Ensure smooth application and control of all administration, clerical, and computer processes.
  • Effective Communication: Provide effective communication to both patients and staff to enhance patient care.
  • Information Management: Record, restore, and supply information using a paper-based filing system (alphabetical or numerical).
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, print, save, and store documents and letters using a computerised system.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Accurately record patient attendances on the hospitals computer system PAS, including inpatients, day cases, and ward attenders.
