The hours of work are around the needs of the service between8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

Assist the nursing staff, clinicians and service users within the Outpatients services on a daily basisMeet & greet patients and service users during clinic timesManage clinic activity in a timely mannerBasic use of computer programmes and appointment lists

A completed competency is required for: ECGs, bladder scanning, urine testing, pregnancy testing and for carrying out & recording patient observations.

Must have the care certificate qualification or equivalent NVQ.

Training will be provided for specific ophthalmology clinic requirements and other specific clinic requirements.
