As a Clinical Vascular Scientist, you'll play a crucial role in independently performing a whole range of vascular ultrasound and vascular physiology assessments on patients. You'll have the opportunity to utilise your expertise to modify examinations based on findings, providing highly specialised clinical technical services and independently interpreting and reporting on the results of all non-invasive diagnostic tests.
Main duties of the job
- Independently perform vascular ultrasound and vascular physiology assessments on patients.
- Modify examinations based on findings, including performing additional tests as necessary.
- Provide highly specialized clinical technical services by interpreting and reporting on diagnostic test results.
- Communicate findings to patients, discussing the clinical significance and outlining possible treatment plans.
- Write clear and concise reports and communicate findings to colleagues to ensure appropriate patient treatment.
