Job summary

Provide administration support to the Informatics Training & Support team, co-ordinate the registration of new Trust staff on the eLearning platform and create Hospital Information System accounts for users.

The Informatics Training and Support Team currently train and support all end users, including GP colleagues, on the hospitals major Hospital Information Systems and all elements of MS Office products and, among others, manage Registration Authority requirements & IM&T controlled communication tools, for example Vocera.

Within this post you will be involved in providing assistance with a number of key duties including training administration, creation of learning materials, co-ordination of requests for IT system access, co-ordination of IT Project requirements affecting the Team and assisting in the delivery of Trust Staff initial introductory training requirements.

Main duties of the job

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work within the NHS by assisting the Informatics Training and Support Team within the IM&T Department.

You must have experience of using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), be well organised, have administrative experience and experience of call handling, or customer support, by telephone or in person. You must have excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal and written skills and you will be equally comfortable working under your own initiative or as a team player in a multi professional team.

You will be required to work across all North West Anglia sites. We offer both onsite and remote working opportunities.

Experience and knowledge of a hospital environment is desirable.
