Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, and a positive approach to customer care is highly valued.
Computer literacy is essential, as you will be working with various Trust Patient Administrative Systems for data input and retrieval.

Main duties of the job
You will take on a varied range of administrative responsibilities, such as registering confidential patient data into the Patient Administration System, booking appointments in order from waiting lists, liaising with patient enquiries face to face and over the telephone, completing attendances, cancelling and rescheduling appointments as required. As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face for our patients.

To be fully conversant with the Trust appointment systems and extract data from waiting lists to book patients in date order and clinical/risk priority
