Job summary

We are excited to welcome individuals who bring their enthusiasm to our Outpatient Administration teams based at our Peterborough or Huntingdon site.

We are seeking candidates who can maintain a calm and professional demeanour and be able to work under pressure and prioritise the workload.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, and a positive approach to customer care is highly valued.

Computer literacy is essential, as you will be working with various Trust Patient Administrative Systems for data input and retrieval.

Main duties of the job

You will take on a varied range of administrative responsibilities, such as registering confidential patient data into the Patient Administration System, booking appointments in order from waiting lists, liaising with patient enquiries face to face and over the telephone, completing attendances, cancelling and rescheduling appointments as required. As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face for our patients.
