Job summary

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Breast Unit as the Breast Screening Office Manager, to support the delivery of thePeterborough Breast Screening Programme and relevant requirements of the Breast Symptomatic Service. Knowledge of the Breast ScreeningProgramme and Breast Patient Pathways is key.

Working alongside a busy team of Administration, Management, Imaging, Nursing and Consultant staff, together with regional/national QA andPublic Health England, this is a very valuable and rewarding role.

Main duties of the job

You must have excellent communication/interpersonal and IT skills, and have a positive approach to promote a positive and supportiveenvironment. You will also have proven experience of leading and managing a team, and customer care.

This is a full time position, working 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday. The post-holder will be required to work flexibly within the core officehours. Occasional Home working may also be a possibility once the post-holder is fully trained.

  • Minimum 6 months clerical/administrative experience in Public Sector environment

  • Experience of using NBSS and BS Select
  • MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of Line Management/Supervisory Skills
