Job summary
We are looking for a credible, dynamic and caring Registered Nurse who is passionate about Dermatology care and who can work using their own initiative within our Dermatology outpatients department. We are looking for a strong leader who will deliver education and support to peers and those developing within the service. We would welcome applicants who who hold either and Adult and/or Paediatric Nursing Registration.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a registered healthcare professional who has experience in managing patient caseloads independently and who will workclosely with Consultant Dermatologists, Dermatology Nurse Specialists, Skin Cancer Nurse Specialists, Administrative Staff and the wider healthcare professional colleagues, to provide a high standard of individualised care.
The post holder will offer specialist support, advice, guidance and treatments to the patients while also monitoring the risk to patients on waiting lists. It would advantageous to have a prescribing qualification although this is not essential.
