Job summary
These posts represent a key element of a collaborative, integrated community cardiology service developed through a partnership between Peterborough and Cambridgeshire CCG and North West Anglia Foundation Trust. Our approach to Community Cardiology is to recruit and train a cadre of motivated, high-calibre general practitioners, who are committed to seeking high standards of patient care for those with known or suspected cardiovascular disease, and who are committed to enhancing both the patient experience of care, and the value created by the healthcare system.
Main duties of the job
The GP Cardiologist will be responsible for assessing, analysing and forming a diagnosis and management plan for patients with known or suspected cardiovascular disease attending the Community Cardiology Clinic.

- oMB BS or equivalent
- oMRCGP or equivalent qualification or experience
- oMinimum 3 years of training in community GP practice or equivalent experience
- oFull registration with the GMC and a licence to practice
