Job summary

Applications are invited for a Locum Paediatric Consultant Radiologist post at North West Anglia NHS Trust.

Peterborough City Hospital (PCH) is a-state-of-the-art 776 bed hospital built in 2010, classified as a medium-sized DGH. It has a full Emergency department, a medical assessment unit and a thriving Cancer service with 3 Linear Accelerators. The department has full ISAS accreditation. There are currently 15 Consultant radiologists (8.1 WTE substantive and a further 3 WTE retired) with a wide range of interests.

Hinchingbrooke Hospital (HH) is a 266 bed small friendly DGH. The department is well-equipped with two CT scanners - new GE 660 CT Optima 660 and a GE Lightspeed 16 slice and a Philips 1.5T MRI Ingenia which was installed in December 2016. The department has 5 ultrasound machines and DEXA scanner, GE digital mammography, 4 plain film rooms and a Digital Fluoroscopy suite.

We are a friendly, dynamic and innovative group of 13.5 substantive Consultant Radiologists and 2 Locum Radiologists covering all of the major sub-specialities across three acute hospital sites serving a population of 700,000 people.
