Diagnostic Imaging Clerical Officer - Princess of Wales - Ely
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic part time person to join our busy Diagnostic Imaging booking and reception team based within the Fenland x-ray departments. The role will mainly be based at Princess of Wales Hospital Ely. Hours being offered are 18.75 per week over a 7 day period.
Knowledge of the hospital booking systems, PAS and RIS would be an advantage but if not training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The post holder has a responsibility within a Team for the provision of Administrative services benefiting the Diagnostic Imaging Department and other service users, observing established systems of work and protocols.
This role will include patient reception duties, manual and electronic duties associated with x-ray referral and images, the handling of incoming and outgoing post and chaperoning patients for Ultrasound scans. The post holder will work predominantly at Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely , but is also expected to work across all sites within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust as required.

The role is office based at Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely. The role will also include general clerical duties, data input and PC work as well as chaperoning duties to support the clinical lists.
We are looking for helpful individuals able to relate to members of the public and show empathy and dedication to the role. You need to be flexible, approachable, have good communication skills, with a polite telephone manner, and attention to detail.
You will be joining a dedicated team of individuals providing a vital service to the Diagnostic Imaging Team and local population.
