Main duties of the job
Using your own judgement and initiative but with the support of the Learning Centre Manager, you will deal with a variety of tasks including administrative support of local induction/mandatory training courses run within the Education Centre. You will utilise your excellent IT skills by maintaining and updating our bespoke computer systems and your valued customer service skills will provide support to our trainers and presenters who utilise the Education Centre facilities.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain current and ongoing training records and provide administration support and facilitation of local induction/mandatory training courses and any other courses as required. This will include the maintenance of all training records using the ESR OLM system.
- Provide support to the Learning Centre Manager with the on-going development of the OLM system and its working practices, assisting the Learning & Development team with regular updates, marking of registers, follow up of non-attendees at mandatory training sessions and yearly system input procedures.
- Replying to and take the necessary action in respect of email requests to the Education Centre on a daily basis, which will include booking and re-scheduling course dates for staff and answering queries.
- Liaise with trainers who use the Education Centre resources to confirm their availability and attendance of planned training courses.
- Printing and distribution of registers, in conjunction with other members of the Learning & Development admin team, to trainers / rooms as required.
- Prepare designated rooms for the start of all training sessions, ensuring all equipment such as Teams equipment is in full working order.
- Be responsible for collating evaluation sheets from individual meetings and teaching sessions facilitated by the Learning & Development team.
- Be responsible for the production of attendance registers for regular and ad hoc teaching sessions held in the Education Centre.
- Assist in the formulation and production of training reports utilising pre-set templates
- Assist in the follow up of non-attendances by delegates at mandatory training sessions.
- Maintain and regularly update own procedure file as well as contributing to any system initiatives which could improve Learning & Development admin processes in general.
- Complete any other admin duties as required by the Learning Centre Manager to ensure the successful daily running of all activities within the Education Centre.
- Work flexibly to ensure adequate cover is in place during absence.
- Deputise for the Learning Centre Manager and supervise the team when required.
