Fixed term contract 12 months, 2 days per week (possibility of additional day).

This role is to lead on the development of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Faculty and its related work streams for the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough STP.

Were looking for an enthusiastic, results orientated person with good project management skills. You will also need to be able to effectively communicate and influence to drive the Faculty within the system. There will be opportunities to work with AHP leaders across the county, gaining valuable experience and strategic insight.

You will have knowledge of clinical and operational practice in the NHS and experience of project management and it will be important to be able to understand issues from the user perspective, ensuring the deliverable of the project are aligned with stakeholder needs.

Main duties of the job

Principle Objectives:

  • To support the C&P AHP Faculty programmes to deliver business process and service improvement changes.
  • To assemble and manage System wide change projects and project teams required to deliver the projects. Ensure projects are aligned with AHP Faculty requirements.
  • To ensure project benefits realisation.
  • To ensure safe and seamless integration with other existing projects and services.

  • In depth knowledge of NHS hospital systems acquired through formal study & self-study. Ongoing self-led programme of Continuous Professional Development
