We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven administrator to join our team in pharmacy. This post will work alongside our existing administrator to support the department with a variety of administrative tasks.
The role offers a great deal of flexibility to the post holder with options to work a proportion of time from home and a flexible working pattern.
The pharmacy team consists of around 60 staff and is situated on the ground floor of the Royal Papworth Hospital, opened just 6 years ago. We're looking for someone with previous administrator experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. A good grasp of Microsoft office products, including excel, is essential.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative services to the pharmacy department.
To be responsible for the ordering of all stationery and supplies.
To raise purchase orders and receipt goods for all pharmacy held contracts.
To produce pharmacy rosters including on-call and weekend and late duty and to ensure these reflect the hours worked prior to finalisation.
To support line managers with the recruitment process.
To arrange pharmacy meetings, sending out calendar invites and arranging rooms as required.
To provide administrative support to Drug and Therapeutics Committee, Medical Gas Committee, Non-Medical Prescribing Group and Pharmacy Business Unit Meeting. To act as minute taker for these meetings, follow up on actions and provide confirmation of approval of documents to other committees and document control.
