We're seeking a dynamic and experienced person to join a fantastic Digital Team as the 'Deputy Head of Digital -- Programmes and Projects'.

This is an extremely exciting and rewarding role with the scope and opportunity to lead on all our Digital Programmes and Projects, from the Ideas stage right through to Implementation and flow into Business as Usual.

It is a senior digital leadership role that is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of highly impactful programmes and projects across the Trust, to support the provision of high-quality, safe and effective patient care.

You will:

*Drive the development of a dynamic operational programme plan aligned to our strategic priorities.

*Monitor and report on progress of all programmes and projects.

*Grow the skills of your teams, enabling them to deliver high quality reporting, analysis, and insight.

*Foster and integrate a culture of continuous improvement and accountability through clinical and non-clinical stakeholder collaboration.

*Ensure high levels of satisfaction across all internal stakeholders related to digital projects.

*Utilise your experience of project management techniques, people skills, tenacity and perseverance to deliver on time and budget.

Main duties of the job

This role has responsibility for delivery of Digital Programmes and Projects. It will provide subject matter expertise on strategic and operational matters, maintaining a strong working relationship with all key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Key duties:

*Design and implement a best-in-class PMO function, defining governance, processes and reporting standards.

*Lead high-priority strategic initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and successful execution.

*Stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels.

*Evaluate the challenges faced and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.

*Articulate complex information and ideas for a non-technical audience.

Required skills and experiences:

*Excellent track record of delivering high priority, critical projects.

*Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, Prince2 or similar project methodologies.

*Proven ability to successfully manage project teams in the administration of PMO and project control process, particularly with respect to the cost, schedule, change, risk and mitigation.

*Ability to influence and persuade senior management towards a desired course of action.

*Strong attention to detail and ability to 'deep dive' into topics.

Managing a Project Management Team this role has the opportunity to make an enormous impact for good in patient care.
