We are seeking a highly organised and motivated PEA Pathway & MDT Co-ordinator to join our Thoracic Directorate. This is a vital administrative role, supporting the Pulmonary Endarterectomy (PEA) service at our National Centre of Excellence.
Main duties of the job
As a PEA Pathway & MDT Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management of administrative processes supporting patient pathways, multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and the flow of essential clinical information. Working closely with consultants, specialist nurses, and a wide range of stakeholders, your work will ensure that patients experience seamless, timely care.
Key responsibilities include:
*Coordinating and administering weekly MDT meetings, ensuring clinical information is complete and outcomes are actioned.
*Managing patient referral pathways to the PEA service, including liaising with external referrers and internal teams.
*Maintaining and updating patient information systems and databases (such as THOR, EMR, Lorenzo, and others).
*Supporting PEA Specialist Nurses administratively
*Producing accurate, timely reports and maintaining high data quality and compliance with Trust policies
*Cross covering Pulmonary Hypertension MDT colleagues where required
*Line management of band 3 colleague(s)

- European Computer Driving License (ECDL)/ equivalent qualification or experience
