Job summary
We are looking for an experienced leader and clinician to support the Physiotherapy Department in a fixed term post. We are looking for a physiotherapist specialising in respiratory medicine to act up into the service lead role to cover an imminent vacancy, for a three month fixed term period.
Applicants should have significant clinical experience in one of the specialist areas of respiratory medicine practiced at Royal Papworth Hospital; Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Long Term Ventilation.
Main duties of the job
In collaboration with the Medical and Surgical Service Leads the post holder will support with strategic direction, clinical leadership and advanced clinical practice. They will be expected to participate in and support others with research practice and undertaking personal and professional educational opportunities.
Candidates should have a BSc, MSc or graduate diploma in Physiotherapy, and be HCPC registered. Candidates should have advanced communication, management and interpersonal skills, and be an advocate for their specialist area of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.
The post-holder will be expected to participate in the enhance seven day service.
