An exciting opportunity to work as a Research Facilitator and Governance Co-ordinator has arisen in the Research and Development Team. We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive individual who will enjoy the challenge of Research Trial set up, feasibility and Capacity and Capability review.

You will be based at the new VPD-HLRI and Royal Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the Research Governance Team, you will be responsible for the setup, feasibility and capacity and capability review of all clinical research trials to be placed in the VPD-HLRI CRF. You will work closely with the Clinical Project Manager Governance and the HLRI CRF Operational Manager to provide support to sponsors, clinical investigators, and their teams in obtaining the required approvals including updates and amendments as necessary.

You will ensure that specified milestones are achieved on time and that the trial is being conducted according to the ethically approved protocol and ICH-GCP standards.

The post holder will be responsible for a portfolio of clinical studies in set up and through the feasibility and capacity and capability review process. These will include commercial and non-commercial trials and Papworth Sponsored trials that will be conducted with the VPD-HLRI CRF.
