The Contracts Manager is responsible for developing negotiating managing and leading complex contractual legal and financial arrangements with providers of goods and services for both the Digital and Estates Division of Royal Papworth Hospital The contract manager is responsible to ensure that contracts are renewed and digital capital planning activities are completed as planned The contract manager has to work closely with Deputy director of Digital CIO and Director of Estates and Head of estates and facilities
Main duties of the job
Manage the portfolio of Digital and Estates contracts to ensure value for money and contract assurance holding suppliers to account. Identify and lead on new and emerging technologies in conjunction with Heads of Digital and Estates with particular emphasis on sustainability and carbon neutral targets in line with the nhs net zero plan. Represent Digital and Estates as the depart lead on new tenders in conjunction with SBS our outsourced procurement provider provide strategic procurement advice and expertise. Manage internal Digital and Estates operations to enable the delivery of the vision, business plans, saving targets and day to day operations. Work closely with the procurement team, Deputy director of digital, CIO and Director of Estates and Head of estates and facilities finance team and ensure that all contracts are renewed on time and the digital capital planning activities are delivered Have regular engagement with the vendors and ensure that their performance review is carried out as required.
