We are pleased to be able to offer a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our friendly, dynamic Clinical Governance and Risk team. The administrator role is an integral part of the clinical governance team who assists the team with a wide range of administrative duties and computer tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation and administrative skills, previous NHS experience or prior knowledge of clinical governance and quality in relation to a healthcare environment is preferable.
The successful candidate will have the chance to make a real difference to Royal Papworth patients, our services users and staff by providing a high quality, efficient, support for the incident and risk team with the day to day co-ordination of safety events. Keeping high quality patient care in the heart of what we do.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for accurate data input, performing basic data analysis and reporting for internal service users and organisations outside of Royal Papworth Hospital Trust, working to deadlines, organising training sessions and meetings with minute taking.
We welcome applications from candidates who enjoy being part of a team, is able to work using their own initiative and has a flexible and adaptable attitude to tackling priorities. The ideal candidate will have had some exposure and knowledge of business administration and has excellent attention to detail with strong IT skills, especially proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Prior knowledge of the Datix incident and risk management software would also be an advantage.
This post will be based at Royal Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The position provides an opportunity for career growth and development and consideration will be given to support access to level 3 Business and Administration Apprenticeship Diploma (subject to course and service requirements).
