Job summary

We are looking for a motivated person to join the Infection Control team. This exciting post will interest staff who enjoy variety in their job with plenty of opportunities and will give the successful applicant the potential to develop the role whilst working with the support and guidance of senior colleagues.

You must be keen to develop your communication, organisational and educational skills and knowledge in this role and, in return, we will offer support with training. You will need to be innovative and keen to use extended skills to support our busy team both clinically and administratively.

Main duties of the job

An essential part of your role will be to carry out and help with the organisation and monitoring of Fit Testing within the Trust. Fit testing is required to be carried out to ensure that FFP3 masks fit staff effectively and provide a safe shield against viruses and organisms which staff may be exposed to in the course of their work. Full training on how to do this will be provided.
