Job summary

Royal Papworth Private Care is seeking a friendly and efficient individual to join the team as a Private Patients Administrator.

You will work as part of an enthusiastic team in a busy office environment helping to deliver and maintain a professional administration/clerical service to patients, relatives, all Trust staff, and external stakeholders.

Don't have experience working in healthcare? Don't worry as full training will be provided. You will have experience of working with Microsoft Office applications and an NVQII in either Administration or Customer Service or relevant equivalent experience, together with the ability to work flexibly to meet the changing demands of the department.

Main duties of the job

Book appropriate follow up clinic appointments, in line with Trust policies and procedures.

Input all data requirements accurately within the different IT systems for booking various tests and recording of patient information (e.g., Tomcat, Lorenzo, excel, word and any other hospital IT systems), according to standard operational procedures.

To take cash/PDQ payments from patient wishing to pay for services either over the telephone or in person.

Co-Ordinate the use of the private consulting rooms with other departments to ensure efficient flow of clinics.
